November 7, 2011: Marc Sutin, Wall Street Veteran joins The Fig Group, LLC.
The Fig Group LLC, a woman-owned introducing minority Broker Dealer is pleased to announce today that Marc L Sutin, a Wall Street veteran known for his insightful market commentary and analysis, has joined the firm.
Marc joins us from Knight Capital Americas L.P. where he was the Senior Technical Strategist/Desk Analyst servicing institutional clientele.

January 15, 2010: Charles Williams as joined The Fig Group as a consultant. Charlie heads up the firm of Butler Snow’s Public Policy Strategy Team. He is a non-lawyer public policy advisor. Areas of emphasis are: public policy and strategy, corporate and associate representation, lobbying and government relations federal, state and local government matters. He served as Chief of Staff to Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour.

May 27, 2009: Carol Massar, Financial News Anchor for Bloomberg Television, announces that Emily Saab Messerschmitt, President and Chief Operating Officer for The Fig Group, will join the panel of women discussing the topic, “Bulletproofing Your Company in Today’s Economy.” The Conference is a part of the Women In Business 2009 conference agenda and will take place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California.

February 20, 2008: The Honorable Mary Ellen Withrow, 40th Treasurer of the United States, has joined The Fig Group as a marketing consultant. One of the most decorated Treasurers of the United States, Withrow is the recipient of numerous honors and has been president of several Treasury-related associations, including the Association of State Auditors, Comptrollers and Treasurers.

April 1, 2007: American Airlines Corporation (AMR) has entered into an agreement with The Fig Group to provide commission recapture services for American Airlines pension plans.

December 16, 2006: Entergy Services Corporation (ETR) announces it will be hiring The Fig Group, LLC to provide commission recapture services for Entergy’s retirement plan. Commission recapture is a program whose purpose is to reduce commission expenses in the management of assets. The Fig Group provides services that return a significant portion of the commissions incurred in the managing account.
