EMILY MESSERSCHMITT, PRESIDENT is in charge of compliance as well as running the daily operations. She is involved in all aspects of the firm and oversees company policies, strategic alliances activities and is series 7,63,65,24 and 4 licensed. Prior to forming the Fig Group she worked in commercial and investment banking with JP Morgan Chase on the Middle Market Platform. She has her B.A. from Southern Methodist University and her MBA in International Business Management from the University of Dallas. She is bilingual in French and English. Emily is part of The Texas Wall Street Women and serves on multiple community boards. A.G. SAAB, CHIEF OPTIONS STRATEGIST, develops and monitors the firm's products and services. He has over 40 years experience in the financial industry. For the past 7 years, he has been the options strategist for Eaton Vance Counsel Group. His previous time was spent at Paine Webber as a VP in the asset management department specializing in options to stock portfolios and at EF Hutton as the Southwest Regional Director. He is series 7 and 63 licensed and is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a BS in Finance. MARC L. SUTIN, CHIEF TECHNICAL STRATEGIST, publishes the Fig Groups 'Market Commentary'. Marc has 31 years of experience as a technical analyst/investment strategist with fourteen of those years spent on an equity trading desk. Prior to joining the Fig Group in 2011, Marc was the Senior Technical Strategist/Desk Analyst at Knight Capital Americas L.P for thirteen years where he developed a reputation for his insightful commentary on the equity, commodity, currency and US Treasury markets. Marc has an MBA in Finance from New York University. He is 7,63,24,55,86,87 licensed. PATSY SENESE, INSTITUTIONAL SALES AND MARKETING, has over 30 years experience in the institutional financial industry servicing institutional money managers, corporate and public plans. She has expertise in implementing corporate stock re- purchase plans as well as understanding how to implement and assist corporations in the area. She is series 7 and 63 licensed. She has been a key figure in the woman-owned-minority Broker Dealer area for many years and brings a wealth of knowledge to the Fig Group in first and second tier diversity needs to her clients. JAMIE PILAND, BACK OFFICE AND MARKETING SUPPORT, has over 30 years in the financial services industry having been associated with EF Hutton, Merrill Lynch, RBC Dain Rauscher, and a local broker dealer, WFG Investments. She graduated from Texas A & M at Commerce with a BA degree in secondary education majoring in French and English. Series 7 and 63 registered. HONORABLE MARY ELLEN WITHROW, CONSULTANT with the Fig Group, LLC. Her responsibilities include business development and client services. She has over 40 years of experience dealing with public financial matters. As 40th Treasurer of the United States, she is world renowned for the institution of new programs, achieved record earnings and efficient management. Withrow is known as one of the most visible Treasurers in recent history and is the first and only person to have the post of treasurer at all three levels of government-local, state and national. She also holds Board of Directors positions at several major US companies. CHARLIE WILLIAMS, CONSULTANT with The Fig Group, LLC. is a non-lawyer Public Policy Advisor with Butler Snow law firm where he heads up the Public Policy and Strategy team. Prior to joining Butler Snow, Williams was Chief of Staff to Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour during his first term. He is involved with corporate and association representation, as well as government relations on local, state and federal matters. Williams served in the Mississippi House of Representatives for twenty-four years, where he chaired the Ways and Means Committee. During his tenure in the Legislature, he was heavily involved in issues relating to economic development, education, gaming, healthcare, insurance, taxation and tourism. |
